SPH Helmet parts include: comfort liners, energy absorbing liners, dual visor assembly, straight cords for volume control, outer lenses, and ear cups.
The SPH series of helmets has been improved several times:
• Thicker energy-absorbing liner.
• The buckle strap is broader and more convenient.
• Comfort lining replaced sling suspension.
Energy Absorbing Shock Liner
The energy absorbing insulation is made of durable polystyrene shaped to match the inside of the helmet shell. You can hook fastener tabs on the outer surface of the liner mat with stack fastener strips on the inside of the helmet cover, making the installation and removal of the liner simpler.
The energy absorbing liner reduces the impact energy to the head. These liners are only available in a particular size, Regular and XL.
SPH Dual Visor Lenses
Replacement of the outer lenses for the dual visor system doesn't require the assembly of the visor lock knob. Just one lens lock knob assembly is used to actuate the lens. For your choice, the visor lock knob assembly can be placed in either location.Replacement of the inner lens for the dual-visor system, includes the inner lens actuator attached to the lens. You should reposition the inner lens actuator on the other side of the lens for your choice.
The dark lens is used for natural lighting during the day. The clear lens is used in low daytime or nighttime conditions. The amber lens can be seen in harsh light conditions such as haze or reflecting snow. The gradient lens is used for bright outdoor light conditions and dim light cockpit conditions so you can see the instruments. The top of the lens is close to the medium lens and the shading changes from medium to bright to the bottom of the lens.
