ALPHA EAGLE - Magnetic Chin Strap for Alpha Series Helmets

I bought this chin for my Alpha Eagle and it's freaking awesome! Securing the chin strap in the helo is crazy fast and very secure, which is important especially in the medivac industry. The rest of my flight crew loves it, I just wish it was available for a lot of other types of helmets. Thanks for the great product!

I picked this up after a recommendation from a friend. First, the strap is too short, especially with the puffy chin pad (which I do like). I had to use part of the old strap and chin pad to make this work on my alpha eagle. Second, the chin pad and adjustment does not stay put with this arrangement because the Velcro does a poor job holding it in place and the buckle does not “lock-in” the adjustment setting.. Third, the short side seems to constantly flip up underneath the earcup and I keep having to dig it out. It’s a nice magnetic buckle and I like it, but it could use more work or more sizes, especially with the price tag it comes with. 3 out of 5 stars.
