HEEDS III (Helicopter Emergency Egress Device) 1.7 - Spare Air

New HEEDS III version with Holster, Dial Gauge and Black HEEDS Bottle. Unit comes as 1.7 unit. Refillable from either a Scuba tank or Compressor. Used to escape submerged aircraft. Unit allows for 30 breathes on average. The HEED III is known throughout the world as the leading emergency breathing apparatus for egressing from ditched helicopters or smoke-filled environments.

	HEEDS III (Helicopter Emergency Egress Device)
	I am not a diver but bought the HEED to go on our aviation life vests. Recently my wife and I went on vacation flying our high wing airplane, you know, the kind where the cabin would end up underwater in a ditching. While we did not (thankfully) need the gear for the trip I was pleased at how well the HEED integrated with our modular crew vests and fit since cockpit space is limited in a private plane. I highly recommend the HEED for part of your over water safety gear.
